This thesis aims to find a more cost effective model for purchasing and logistics at asmall company. The studied company is a BMX (bicycle motocross) and MTB(mountain bike) retailer. The questions to be answered are: How large parties shouldbe ordered and what mode of transportation is to be used? A literature orientation ofthe field was followed by visits to the company, obtaining information from twodifferent logistics companies and interviews of four other companies in the sameindustry. The study shows that it´s difficult to develop an optimum order quantity fora small company since there often are other factors affecting how large amountshould be ordered.

Dop, konfirmation och bröllop är några riter som kyrkan kan erbjuda och som har varierats genom årens lopp. Syftet med denna uppsats är att genom relevant litteratur beskriva dopets, konfirmationens samt bröllopets historia och seder och bruk, samt kartlägga vad invånarna i Kalix anser om rite de passage. Metoden utgick från ett kvantitativt synsätt och till grund för undersökningen låg enkätundersökningar bland Kalixborna och urvalet bestod av 100 respondenter med bred åldersvariation 15-75 år. Resultatet visar att de flesta av både männen och kvinnorna oavsett ålder eller yrke/sysselsättning, använder kyrkan i 1:a hand för att utföra olika riter, men därutöver minskar kontakten med kyrkan. Men det finns en viss skillnad mellan könen.

En undersökning och diskussion av motiv för att döpa barn, med fokus på Svenska kyrkan. Motiven studeras från tre olika aktörers perspektiv: 1) Traditionen, framförallt den lutherska reformatoriska traditionen, 2) Svenska kyrkans nutida lära och reflektion, samt 3) De föräldrar som valt att låta döpa sina barn. En stor spänning blir synlig i skillnaden mellan dopföräldrarnas syn på dopet och de övriga två aktörernas dopsyn. Men även mellan traditionen och Svenska kyrkans nutida lära finns avgörande skillnader, framförallt vad gäller synen på människan och på dopets eventuella nödvändighet. Två möjliga vägar framåt diskuteras; dels vad det skulle innebära att tydligare lyfta fram berättelserna om Jesu dop som modell för det kristna dopet, dels hur liturgin i gudstjänsten kan ses som ett kommunikativt växelspel..
